Sir Ifeanyi Ejiofor, the principal counsel to Mazi Nnamdi Kanu of the Indigenous People of Biafra, has dismissed Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu’s threat that the All Progressives Congress would seize control of Abia state in 2027.
Ejiofor was responding to a comment attributed to Kalu that went viral on social media, claiming the APC will take over Abia state in 2027.
He stated his opinions, saying, “This video demonstrates the level of Rt Hon. Benjamin Kalu’s desperation as the deputy speaker of the Nigerian House of Representatives. It is obvious that this young man is entirely detached from the realities of his native state.
Ejiofor went on to say, “I can promise you that he will struggle to keep his mandate in 2027, as is the clear result of the current macabre dance. Abians who are currently reaping the extraordinary benefits of strong leadership will undoubtedly speak louder in 2027, should their votes count again, at which point the deputy speaker will realise he has been daydreaming. He needs to awaken from his rest and prepare for the trials ahead!”
He continued with the statement: “Abians deserve leaders who understand their struggles and are truly connected to the pulse of the people.”
