Charles Udeogaranya, a media consultant who recently travelled to China with representatives of Nigerian mainstream media organisations, has urged African leaders to use the approaching 2024 China-Africa Summit to establish the most significant global economic alliances.
In a news statement issued Monday, Udeogaranya emphasised that African leaders should shift their attention away from seeking loans for government projects that have little economic impact on citizens.
Instead, they should focus on encouraging B2B relationships and direct currency exchanges. This method will offer chances and affordability for local businesses, benefiting the people and resulting in huge job growth.
Udeogaranya stated that China is the nicest country in the world, and their readiness to collaborate with African countries in a mutually beneficial situation is clear. He emphasised that China ought to be welcomed and treated gently as African brothers and sisters, and, more importantly, as Africa’s closest friend in the world.
In his final remarks, Chief Charles Udeogaranya stated, “The 2024 Summit of the Forum on China-Africa Cooperation will be held in Beijing from September 4 to 6.” This is a make-or-break scenario. President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his African counterparts must grab the chance and maximise its potential. I wish them the best luck.”
