African-American Woman Disowns & Disrespects Ailing Mother In Court Because She Is Dark Skin & She Wants To Be White; A Real Live “Imitation Of Life!
A 69- year old mother named Alma Johnson is dragged into court by her fair skin black daughter named Sandra Johnson who is suing her mother for $600.00. Sandra claims she lost her job because her mother came to her job which is all white and told security she was her mother. She said her mother caused a scene at her job which caused her to be fired.
She had been disowning her mother since the age of 16 because she wants to be white and was embarrassed by her mother’s dark hue so she began living her life as a white woman even though you can clearly tell she is a fair skin black woman who surely cannot pass for white.
This incident is a true reflection of the 1934 film “ce” where a struggling young actress with a six-year-old daughter sets up housekeeping with a homeless black widow and her light-skinned eight-year-old daughter who rejects her mother by trying to pass for white.
This young woman totally disrespected her mother in the courtroom by calling her poor and uneducated. She says all her friends were white and she dated a rich white man so she can live her life as a person of privilege.
She said that her boyfriend asked her was her mother black and when he found out she lied he put his hands on her. She claims her mother ruined her life.
