ThankGod Omori, also referred to as TG Omori, is an award-winning cinematographer and music producer. He said on Friday that he has been recovering from the stitches from his unsuccessful kidney transplant.
He stated that he is improving and will keep fighting even though he is unable to give God a backflip in thanksgiving.
He acknowledged the love he has received from his followers and said he was excited to get back on his feet and make new music videos to please his fans.
“Up and grateful, O Lord,” Omori wrote in a post on his X account on Friday. (I regrettably cannot backflip.) I appreciate all of the kind words and prayers.
“I’m still in the fight, but I’m recuperating from the unsuccessful attempt. I can’t quit now that I’ve been on it for a year or so.
“I adore you all very much. I’m eager to make fresh, busy music videos for each and every one of you.
As previously reported by The PUNCH, the music producer underwent an unsuccessful kidney transplant following his brother’s kidney donation, which helped him recover from a renal disease.
Omori revealed this on Wednesday, shortly after disclosing that he was going through a difficult time, and asked Nigerians to pray for him.
He stated, “I recently underwent an unsuccessful transplant at St Nicolas Hospital Lagos, one year after my kidney failed. On my behalf, please pray.
He had previously visited a theatre three times, and the cinematographer pointed out that he was not yet doomed to die.
TG Omori also described how, in order to assist him survive the kidney-related illness, his brother gave him his kidney.
When Omori uploaded a photo of himself on his Instagram account on Wednesday, it was evident what he was talking about.
He claims that in order to offer him another chance at life, his only sibling donated one of his kidneys.
“My only brother gave me one of his kidneys yesterday so I could live again,” the writer stated.
“Keep my spirit alive. I don’t want to die.”
