The Toronto Police Service in Canada has initiated an inquiry following the distribution of a TikTok video containing threats against the Edo and Yoruba tribes in Canada.
The video, which appeared on the social media platform X.com on Tuesday, shows a Nigerian living in Canada, Amaka Sunnberger, speaking in Pidgin English during a TikTok meeting and calling for the poisoning of Yoruba and Benin people.
“Record me extremely properly. “It is time to begin poisoning the Yoruba and Benin,” Sunnberger remarked.
“Put poison on all una food for work.” Put poison in una water; make una dey kpai one by one,” she continued.
Sunnberger was identified by the federal government earlier today as the person responsible for the viral film.
The video, which has raised worry in the community, is now the subject of a police investigation after concerned community members reported the incident.
