The source said as follows to Fars, Iran’s semi-official news agency: “The inquiry into Ayatollah Raisi’s helicopter crash has been concluded. The fact that what occurred was an accident is beyond doubt.
According to the source, “the unsuitable weather conditions and the helicopter’s inability to handle the weight, which caused it to collide with a mountain” were the two main causes of the incident.
The inquiry also discovered that the helicopter was carrying two passengers in excess of what was permitted, which was against security procedures.
State media, however, have reported that the communications centre of the Armed Forces General Staff has rejected this allegation as “wholly false.”
